Ducati boss reportedly flee to the Airline

Some Italian media reported that Ducati CEO, Gabriele del Torchio will soon be leaving the Italian manufacturer to take over the airline, Alitalia.

Del Torchio is rumored to be replacing Andrea Ragneti, who resigned in February after Alitalia had a loss of 280 million euros (USD 3.56 trillion) in 2012.

Del Torchio who worked for Ducati since 2007 again served as CEO after a division of Volkswagen, Audi bought the company last year. In addition, Audi also appoint Del Torchio as a director at Automobili Lamborghini.

Based on the existing speculation, General Director of Ducati, Claudio Domenicali and one of the leaders Audi, Wolfgang Durheimer is a strong candidate to replace Del Torchio.
